I got your meaning, Eduardo.
And there wasn't supposed to be any sound. Not all of them will have sound. If this were the ONLY thing I was working on I'm sure I'd have time
to find sound effects for just about everything that happens, but it isn't. Plus I think that would be distracting as hell. In fact, for the
current story I can't think of any scene I have planned that absolutely MUST have sound like the intro did, but I can think of one or two near the
end that MIGHT be improved with a simple appropriate noise or two. Maybe I should ask you folks what you think. More sound or no
sound?
I hope to do a lot better than quarterly for the stories. Monthly is what I'm shooting for. Yes, I know it's already been more than a
month, but this is what I call a 'transition period' where I'm still getting everything together for the new site.

Another thing I wanted feedback on is the length of time between frames. Was the animation too fast or too slow? Since I added the buttons to
skip forward and rewind, I guess a good question to ask is if anyone had to actually USE the buttons or was there enough time to read the dialog
without going back?

Opinions
I didn't think that the rate of dialogue was fast or slow. Just as it should be.
Sound? Let them without it, this way it is less one thing for you to worry and you can use sound effects only when you do want to make us notice
them.
Besides, I can't imagine reading your tales listening to ... anything. This would be a sound track difficult to find.

I'm with eduardo on this one; no sound, unless you as the author feel it would enhance a particular scene, like the gunshots in the intro.
As for the speed, I found myself using the skip-forward button from time to time, but not often... and once I had to skip backward cuz I was a bit
distracted while reading. I've seen Flash comics that allow the user full control over "pages", and in some instances it works quite well. By far
the best example I know of is "Hunter-Killers", linked at the bottom of this page
(dial-up warning: large Flash download if you open the Hunter-Killers link). The use of classic comic book-style pages works quite well (although the
animations are superfluous and unnecessary). As long as it doesn't mess up the rythem of your story, any chance you could simply allow the reader
manual control over the page/frame transitions? Just a thought.

I dunno... personally, I think Mushroomhead seems to fit much of DI's twisted tales... but that's just me. :)

From the lack of comments I'm assuming that everyone is happy with the new size of the animation/page. No scrollbars for anyone?

No
Not in my case. Smooth image taking exactly the right amount of screen.

Looking good
Looking good and liking it.

The same system that the Asylum Walls uses. Entirely different site. And when you doing it on the same register form.
